The only fully lifted L400 in the UK I know is currently in a workshop having it's chassis welded and generally being repaired after a bad instal job in Japan
When it's finished it will be well wicked tho... _________________

Rusty is correct - the only L400 known of in the UK with a PROPER lift is currently being completely rebuilt due to MAJOR problems with the way the lift was done!!
When it is finished - it will not only look awesome - it will also be far more sturdy than most other lifted L400's anywhere in the WORLD! (I've seen the photos - this is some SERIOUS work!! )
I don't want to give too much away because I know the owner wants to keep it fairly 'under-wraps' until the job is done.....but when that will be - who knows?? A lot of the work has been done, but as I know from personal experience of doing this sort of thing - it's the little jobs that hold everything up! :?
Watch this space.......
(well, not this particular space - but the forum in general!)
Regards,
Bruce.
P.S. The work involved in this lift (the L400) has shown that it is simply not worth lifting a Deli unless you do it properly and are prepared to spend proper mone to get the job done correctly and SAFELY!!
Cranking your torsion bars up to the MAX and expecting to keep the chassis intact (bump stop outriggers, upper arm chassis mounting plates etc....) is asking for trouble, a big repair bill and possibly a deathtrap of a motor!! - Just ask 'The Kick Inside' - he's experienced the results first hand! (hope the motor is okay now mate??) _________________ '93 L300 Mystery Machine (Now in the hands of a new owner)

Glad you like it mate - thanks for the nice compliments! :D 8)
If you're down at the next Weston meet - I'll take you for a spin around the campsite (as long as you bring a bib to catch all that dribble!! )
Regards,
Bruce. _________________ '93 L300 Mystery Machine (Now in the hands of a new owner)

Hi Chris,
Yes, it's Fox's motor we're talking about - but the details of what is happening to it are remaining quiet until the job is finished (no one wants to jinx it now!! :? - hence why mine was also kept hush hush until WSM! )
The pics you've seen (with goodies) aren't the whole picture - he's also got other plans for it.....but I'll leave that up to him if he wants to divulge them yet??
I hate sounding secretive - but I hope you understand, when it's someone elses motor, it's not for me to let all the news out??
Regards for now,
Bruce. _________________ '93 L300 Mystery Machine (Now in the hands of a new owner)

PS. Thank your Dad for guiding me out of WSM!
Once he hit the motorway, I did not see him for dust! I didn't know a Deli could go that fast!
