Hi all,

I'm slowly fixing up bumps and scrapes on my L400 and have taken off lot of bits successfully with help from the forum. I'm now stuck on how to remove the exterior passenger / drivers door handles! I've got the door card off but I can't seem to disconnect the handle from the mechanism. It seems impossible to get my hand in the gap. Is there a trick or any extra bolts screws I've missed? I tried a search but nothing came up...

Thanks!

Thanks Yoza. I've got that far but I couldn't seem to free the handle from the linkage. I've given up for now as I have more pressing issues unfortunately - timing chain rattle.

There is a circlip holding the linkage to the inner end of the lock barrel.

Undo that and the handle and barrel will come out.
