Thinking about it, I don't think it's going to affect us L400 owners but I'm unsure if L300 are pre 86?

Most L300s on here are post-'86, but I thought quite a few L400 owners on here had already converted theirs to LEDs or HIDs without penalty, so this relaxation means that if they have got away with it so far, they won't need to worry from now on. I seem to have got away with duplicated reversing lamps for several years now! Can't see much at all with the original ones, despite fitting them with LEDs!
