Hi guys
When I bought the van the guy said the overdrive switch was broken so it was bypassed so it's always on.  I took off the steering cowl and looked for where the bypass has been made but I couldn't find it.  I disconnected the connector and putting a volt meter across the black and red wires I'm getting 12v so I am assuming the bypass is right at the switch. The next step I did was to hot wire the black and yellow to switch off the overdrive and get the light to come on on the dash but it didn't.  So I am wondering if the bypass has been done elsewhere??

So if i was to to disconnect the connector is it right to assume the overdrive will be switched off thereby confirming the bypass has been done at the switch? Or am I getting this all wrong?

Thanks

Jon
