About seven months ago I fitted a pollen filter to the underbonnet air scoop. I made this from a Mazda 3 pollen filter I hade left over and screwed it into the air scoop with self tappers. Tonight I changed the windscreen washer jets and had to remove the cabin air intake assy and scoop with the pollen filter fitted. I was amazed by how much crap it has captured in such a short space of time. In seven months since fitted I think its only covered about 4000miles.  See pictures......that filter was pure white when fitted!!

There isn't one.

Paulus fitted this unit as a modification to the air scoop, where it directs air to the internal heater matrix, above the batteries.

Oh, okay, Smile
I might do the same.

Btw, there is a flap you can close and open, operating with a steel wire but where is a handle please?

Thank you, you`re always so helpful!

Again that was not fitted to all vehicles.

If you have one it will be fitted above the Fuel cap cover release lever.

Yeah, found it, was wondering what it is for before Smile
Could you explain how to operate this please? I have tried but not too strong, to not brake it Smile

Thank you!

It pulls out about half an inch.

It's held together with a lug screw that often works loose and drops out.
