Dates Friday the 13th - Sunday 15th October.
Branscombe airfield and camping
Arrival any time after 2pm on the Friday, I am planning on heading home at about 5pm on the Sunday.
When booking please state you want to be next to the other Mitsubishi Delica Owners Club UK™ members. Use my number plate as reference "L633JKN"
Non electric grass pitch £27
Electric Grass Pitch £33
Information about the site:
Site with its own private airstrip with restored aircraft
Within easy reach of Branscombe beach, Seaton and Beer
Safe and enclosed play area; 2 games rooms; plenty of space for play
Branscombe Airfield and Camping is four miles from Sidmouth, Seaton and Beer, on the edge of Branscombe village and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on Lyme Bay.
The site has its own private airstrip, home to a range of vintage and classic aircraft including a Tiger Moth, a Stearman and a Waco. The resident pilots and restoration team are happy to show guests the current lineup of aircraft and you'll also see occasional flight activity.
Branscombe has plenty of wide open space with views of Devon countryside and distant sea views. There are refurbished toilets and free showers, as well as a new utilities block; a washing-up area and a launderette with washing machine and tumble dryer.
There's also a safe and enclosed play area with plenty of space to play football and other outdoor activities, and a small indoor games room also available. Foodies will find two Good Pub Guide pubs within a mile and a half – one within a short 10-minute stroll.

I usually work on Friday night - oh well, another night off work I've not worked much (for a living) in the last two months
Unless you want to make it Saturday/Sunday nights.

Go on Deker, take Friday night off, if not the afternoon. Don't forget, Sun will be setting by 7.00pm, and you will be driving west. 335 miles each way for me, so sadly, I'll give it a miss/ _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

I can't take the Monday off, I maybe able to work via laptop but I would also have to see if my partner could get Monday off. For now lets work with those dates but if its too much of an issue for you I will look at us getting the Monday off. |

A) That weekend - The 13th Oct. I assume Very late in the year for nice weather, and it gets dark very early
Don't wanna change your mind, and make it 13: Sept, would suit me better
Is it necessary to book in advance, or can I just turn up
I have an animal at home, and need to make feeding arrangements.
Be 'Orrible if I booked, and then to find that my Feline Feeder people could not do the feeding bit

Yes the 13th, I understand that it gets dark early but I have to be on call three weekends out of four and I am already booked up for September and that weekend I have off as its my birthday the following week.
The good thing is that I will be bringing a fire pit so we can enjoy fire through the night
I think you need to book in advance but I'm sure if you called them they may be up for it seeing as I have already booked and my friend should be as well soon. |
