Nine (or seven) in all if I remember correctly. Wife's out in it at the mo.
Looking at the front of the vehicle, there are 2 each side just inside the radiator grille - they may be covered with black plastic caps that just pull off.
Then, under the front of the vehicle there are 3 (or 2) on the off side and 2 (or 1) on the near side.
If you've only got one then you must have a really boingy boingy bar! _________________ Pete

thanks pete,
as i suspected, the ones at the side of the grill only 1 left as the others have sheared off :? it looks like i am going to have to take off half the front end to replace these, has anyone else had to do this i could do with some pointers.
as for the ones underneath, doesn't appear to be any again what do i need to remove to get access
my bars are remarkably stable considering
thanks again

Sean, removal is pretty straight forward and should take any more than 10 minutes. Most nuts can be got at with a socket and bar. The only awkward one is one of the underneat offside ones that you have to get with an open ended spanner.
Sorry, can't remember sizes off the top of my head! _________________ Pete

okay I'll confuse u all now, I got the sizes wrong, it should be:
The same SIZE(i don't know what the imperial measurement is) as an M10 with a fine imperial thread on the front &
the same SIZE (i don't know what the imperial measurement is) as a M12 with a fine imperial thread underneath.
Thanks Pete no probs doing it _________________ have you seen him? |

To confuse you further... Metric bolts are available in two pitches i.e. fine and course. I think it's 1.00mm tpi = fine and 1.5mm tpi = course or something like that :? _________________
