In a moment of nostalgia tonight, I started seeking out my favourite old cassette tapes, specifically Layla - extended version of same, - at the back of the CD cabinet, and found my original Walkman. Spent a happy 40mins on the back seat of the Deli, with the Walkman connected into the AUX socket of my replacement CD player (the original Panasonic Sound Stage Radio/Cassette player having died a few months ago). Need to find a 3V DC output transformer, or carry plenty of AA batteries, - they don't last long!

I'm in Carlisle on Monday, so I'll see what Maplins have in, - I have a 5v phone charger, but would that not damage the 3v Walkman?

Had to remove the gramophone as it had a dog stuck in it! Jack Russell, I think. Rolling Eyes
