Well ... I could hardly put it in the club shop without giving it a go!
100ml in the fuel tank and 250ml in the oil ...
It's only been 24 hours and around 100 miles, so I can't comment yet on the MPG, but it started better than ever this morning and is running noticeably quieter!
I'll try to keep a track of the mpg and see what effect there is ;)
(I'm so impressed, I've done our old renault savannah too ... 50ml in the petrol tank and 200ml in the oil ... suddenly, I don't need the radio on so loud!)

So you put the same stuff in the oil and the diesel? :? |
Yes ... same stuff in both ... it bonds to metal surfaces when they heat up to form a 'microscopic layer of lubricity' (is that a real word, or one I just made up :? )

Have to try each seperately to see what effect each separate application has, if you get what I mean. |
I should have done the same ... but ... in for a penny!

Do you need to put a new lot in every time you change the oil ?? _________________ Any information in this posting is correct to the best of my knowledge and I accept no resposibilty for any actions or results based upon it.© |

From ZX1 :

WILL I LOSE THE ZX1 TREATMENT WHEN I CHANGE MY OIL
No, ZX1 impregnates and thermally bonds into the metal surfaces; the components are protected until the ZX1 wears away, you can also use an engine flush before changing the oil if desired |
The compound binds to the metal surfaces, so the protection remains even when the oil is changed. Of course, you have to allow for 'wear and tear' and ZX1 have suggested replenishing every 24,000 miles.
