I had the subject fuel seals replaced this week by Mark 3 and what a fantastic job he did in a fraction of the time in which I could have done it, had I dared, even with the excellent forum assistance. He had all kinds of specialised tools, lubes and sealants to do the job, knew where all the bolts went and had none left over. At the same time he replaced the fuel filter, the same Nipparts one I used, for an extra £20 which included the filter. My Jasper is now going like a bird.
I live not too far from him so was able to ask a friend in Rainham, Essex who is also a mobile tradesperson, to find him for me.

A strange thing happened the other day!!
Phoned a bloke call Mark3 on December 2nd 2011 and arranged for him to come to my pad in London for the 5th of December for around mid-morning to have a pop at the fuel-pump seals and change the filter. The Monday the 5th comes around and this motor turns up outside at 11am right on the money. Jeez I thought it's mid-morning  and he's turned up, what's going on! Has a coffee says he'll be about 2 hours. All right I think and this fellah promptly takes the beast (much loved by me and the family- the Delica L400) to pieces after warming it up as it was perishingly cold. I eyeball what he is doing (of which he really doesn't mind) whilst droning in his ear. I get to learn shed loads by watching and listening. As my kids might say 'how cool is that'. About two hours later everything is back where it should be with no stray nuts and bolts floating about and the motors running just fine.
I cannot  recommend Mark enough: full of info, likes to share it out; gets on with the job; turns up when he said he was going to; does the job in the time he says and then to top it all does a few little extras just to make sure and all at the same price.

with thanks and regards

Just another great thanks to Mark 3. Today he came all the way to sunny Swindon to do my Pajero pump seal and fit my new injectors while he was there.

It's a 2.8 J Top so same engine as on my L400 and pretty much exactly the same procedure.

Made a huuuuge difference and took no time at all!

Would thoroughly recommend his services anytime!

Mark the mobile mechanic is awesome. Changed the Pump front seal and fuel filter while he was at it. Gave my Deli a general health check and a pointer on a few things to look out for and he did it in the time I manage to drink a cup of tea and have a couple of sandwiches. Infact, he was the one waiting for me! Top bloke, and well recommended. He's based in Rainham, Essex. He'll come to you or you can go to him to save a couple of quid. If you don't fancy wasting a day messing around with it yourself, call Mark. he sorted mine the day I rung him!

If you need a prompt quality fuel pump seal change carried out Marks your man.

Came to mine yesterday at agreed time, job done in about 2 hours and one strong cup off coffee Laughing

Makes a welcome change to get good repairs at a resonable price these days

I would recommend anyone to use Mark if your pump seal needs to be done

Thanks again Mark

Mark3 aka 'www.mobilemechanic.org' is a god amongst men. I was convinced my fuel pump was knackered and was looking at a bill I could ill afford to pay. Called Mark who patiently listened to the symptoms and then gave me his opinion on what it might be. A little bit of c**p in the non return valve inside the fuel filter housing he said. Well, a mouthful of diesel, a couple of curses, a new fuel filter and a very wet back later (it was p*****g it down) my baby is running better than ever. Thanks Mark, you are a gentleman.
Steve.

I had Mark round today to stick a new seal in my pump.  This man knows his way around a Mitzi diesel.  I suppose he should really as he has done over 300 pump seal replacements.

If your seal needs replacement then do yourself a favour and give him a shout.  There is no substitute for experience and Mark will do in minutes what could take you hours.  It's really just not worth the grief.

A top man that I'd highly recommend.
