Hi Buz,

1st. where in liverpool are you?

2nd. What seems to be the problem?

3rd. There are quite a few ppl on here in Liverpool and the surrounding areas that might be able to help you before you spend all your hard earned on a mechanic.

4th. there is a VAST amount of knowladge on here too.

5th, I have used CARLOGIX in speke. They deal with jap imports.

HTH somehow.  Wink

Is your the Blue Over Gray?
Are you behind the police Stn.
I'm in netherley, you may have seen my Deli, Loads Of Lights.

It could be a lot of things,

ME, i would 1st try the Fuel Filter, a new one, see if this cures it

When was the last time you had it serviced?

Have you still got your EGR valve fitted, it may be blocked with Gunk or stuck open.

When was the last change of Glow plugs?

Sorry theres so many questions, bu twe need to fathom out whats your problem is.

the EGR can be cleaned out, i done mine once with a kit off E-Bay, (for my Pajero, Same Engine as the Deli) it looked and worked like new after that.

For my Delica i got a Blanking kit off E-Bay and got rid of the EGR all together.

As for the Fuel Pump seals, you can find that out if you take it to a Diesel Specialist for a check up.

Smoke from a Deli in Winter is very common, mine does it all the time, Winter, Spring, summer or fall.

As i said, try the Filter 1st and we will see what happens after that.
