|
|
I wonder if anyone has towed this amount of weight with a SWB Deli, not sure exactly what the towing weight is as i know this question has been asked lots of times.
The reason i ask is because i have got the chance to do regular jobs towing a tri-axel 3500 trailer to Milan and leaving it there with medical supplies on.
Just wondering if the Deli could do this and if it is legal or not. I am legal to tow a trailer as i have had my car license since 1989 and i do have a full C+E (Class 1) HGV.
Any advice would be good.

Dunno whether legal or not. I am sure the Deli could tow it but I'm damned if I'd want to tow that heavy a trailer all that way behind one... You'd be better off in a lorry
I'm sure someone can think of a more useful reply though... _________________

The problem is it is pretty hard to get a 7.5 t lorry that has a tow bar, hire companys don't normally allow it on there insurance. I cannot put the goods in a lorry as the trailer is used for promotional work and would be staying out in italy.
Thanks for your reply though Rusty. _________________ 1997 Delica Jasper, 2001 Volvo V70 T5 |
