Hey all,

I'm on a circular trip around Cornwall in a couple of weeks, starting at the Exeter and working our way clockwise. Any one any tips of nice locations to overnight, preferably waking up to stunning views of the sea?

I have never been to Cornwall so the usual spots stick out for example Lands End etc etc

Cheers

Mike

Hello Miller
Just asked the other half and Praa Sands is a five minute walk away from the camp site where we stayed we were touring and i got confused because i was probably drunk. The place where you camp right by the beach is Pentewan Sands just above Mevagissey and if there is a high tide tou can wake up with seaweed in the tent.

Laughing Well i struck lucky with the weather! suitably sunburnt now:lol:  Laughing

Salcombe - Bolberry - Bigbury on Sea - Plymouth - Whitsands - Porthleven-Pra Sands - Lands End - Penzance - St Ives - Tintagel - Bude - Wollacombe - Lynmouth - Linton - Weston S Mare - Cheddar

saw a few L400's on our travels, one grey over silver flashed.....hello to you!

Lifted grey or green low roof L300 in north devon/south somerset, waved.....hello to you

and nearest spot was being followed by a grey L300 near Ilfracombe, in fact ytou let me out from where i pulled in, i also saw you in the car park in Wollacombe too  Laughing  Laughing

Couple of Deli pics on holidays, got the ladder fitted too a few days before we left.

1050miles, i now think i have a sticky caliper on LHS, four tank of fuel so i think thats good, not worked out the actual mpg yet, ill do that later Laughing

Only had to resort to two nights out of 6 for paid camping, the rest was done wild and in the comfort of the Deli!

View we woke up to!

Not sure if this car park is open but what amazing scenery. If you visit Porth Curno and the Minack open air theatre, there's a public car park on the top that has some amazing stunning scenery. In fact the whole area is simply magical.

Just visiting Sennen Cove and parking down on the front can be breathtaking ( thats very near to land end - 1 mile )

You can walk from Sennen cove accross to lands end and that's superb scenery too.

Lands end is brill....would be great to get a picture of the Deli parked next to the signpost at Lands End...I wonder if anyone has done that before ? Its normally a place for people to be photographed but to have a Deli would be cool !

have fun while you there...its my all time place of places...getting jealous now thinking about it.

north devon is ver rugged and quiet, we love it up there even if i do live in paignton.
wollacombe bay is our fave place to go, i drive the back lanes and 60-mile drive there i only saw a few cars once on the back lanes.
glad you liked it, see you again then ??
