Hello everyone,  I know this isn't a forum for Hyundai's but can't find any.  The Delica is very similar to mine, my question is what is involved in bringing my H1 here to the Uk.  It is from Portugal and left hand drive,  2004 2.5td 6 seater.  What is the cost and things that have to be done to the van?  I am thinking of registering it here if not to expensive.  Thanks for any help in advance.

Well a Delica may be, but this is a Delica Owners Club!  Wink

If you are bringing it here then be prepared for a whack from the Government every year.  A 2.5TD first registered after 2001 now has a road tax charge of £400 per year and thats before you have even driven it.

There is a Hyundai Owners club of Great Britain (HOCGB) forum located here:- http://www.hyundaiownersclub.co.uk/forum/

Also this SVA Test centre may prove of more use to you and answer any tech questions you have:- http://www.bmsesva.co.uk/?gclid=CISm__ScpJQCFRpUEAodxkgotQ

if not I am not sure it gets the £400 whack tax...

Mark your right! I was thinking of the fact it was first registered after 2001, as opposed to having a CO2 rating.

I've just checked the VCA website and the only Hyundai's listed are:-

i30
i30 Estate
Sonato
Tucson
Santa Fe

So the H1 should just get the normal tax we have on the D E L I C A.  Wink
