I thought it might be a bit risky going over the high passes in winter...

So how about:-

meet at Bowness,
trip on the ferry.
short tour to pub for lunch,
little light green laning.
cafe and park for kids
then home

let me know what you think

Chris

Righty Hoe,

Sunday 23 Jan 04.

Meet at carpark in Bowness on the left as you go out going north to Ambleside. (will post name and GR when I can get outside without getting a cold shower)

11.00 okay for everyone. No problems being late as we will chat for a while before we get going....

Then schedule as above.

All welcome

No I'm afraid both routes too tricky.....

Not enough ground clearance for the first.....

Not enough wheel articulation for the second....lost grip at that point...steeper than it looks...
