Hi M8,
Thanks for this, have you got one fitted yet? I have emailed them but do you know if they are high or low roof.
Thanks again
Ken

Well I live not to far away so I am hoping they can let me collect it when I get it. As for low and high roof No idea, must admit I thought they were the same and it was only the roof that was different.

Might get their front sun visor as well !

the roof is higher yes, but in order for the roof to rise so does the rear door,
the very top of the high roof door is slightly narrower than the top of the low roof door...

or at least thats how it looked to me when I was parked by Deli-Hustlers car

Hi,
Had a good look at the pics, I think they are for the low roof, if you look at the right hand side of the spoiler in the pic it looks to have a cut out for the rear mirror. Low roofs may need this but high roofs don't. But will wait to see when confirmed.

Ken are you sure they don't as they mirrors I've been looking at for my Crystalite roof Deli would like they would snag if I fit the spoiler without a cut out like the one shown on the one I've mentioned.

Please feel free to correct me but it does look like it will fit to me

I can confirm what Kenr1 says - these are for low roof L400's - in fact they look (as near as damn it) like an exact copy of a genuine Mitsy low roof spoiler. The brake light is slightly different, but the actual spoiler shape looks to be based on the original....

Take a look at this genuine one which I sold a year ago and see what I mean:

Now look at the one in the eBay advert:

See what I mean??

I can also assure you that this will not fit a high roof L400 because I also used to have a high roof spoiler too and the mountings are TOTALLY different..... Wink

To me it looks like a low roof spoiler, as its almost flat.
All the high roof spoilers I've seen curl around at the ends.

Of course I could well be wrong , and someone may have made a flat highroof spoiler. Wink

Cheers Dave.

Hi,
Thanks Mystery, looks like its back to Germany, has any one fitted one from Germany as I need to know if they are glued or bolted on as I have a ladder fitted.

This lot also have the sun shades for the front screen and a nice rear stainless bar.

Thanks
Ken

My spoiler came from Germany.

Its fitted with brackets that clamp it to the top of the rear door. I 'm not sure of the suitability with a ladder, as i don't have one .

it can be fitted to the high roof,IF you are good at measuring Shocked
basicly they are the same but the low roof one is longer, the Deli roof profile is or was designed on the same profile in both cases, therefore you would need to cut a piece/section out from either side of the brake light, approx 3.5" per side, then useing two pieces of profiled wood to rejoin and glue :D suppose it comes down to how much effort you wish to put in to get a spoiler :D they do look better than the sunshade type thou in my opinion :D

And HERE is the link for all those interested.

I must say, having seen the one on Jackdaw's motor they are a very nice piece of kit and a bargain when you consider it comes with the brake light and postage for less than £50!! (slightly more if you use the buy-it-now...)
