I live in st Austell and he lives in plymouth heres what he charges for a home visit. Sounds like its the same cost as taking it to a garrage.

I will use him and tell you how he gets on. I have also asked if he will give a discount for club members. He seems quite low price anyway. I see there is only one cheaper here at 60 quid. all the rest are higher.

What an excellent chap this guy was. He came out on the dot just as he promised. He is an ex Royal Navy aircon engineer based in Redruth so all this is a walk in the park for him. He spent all in all over an hour working on the system. I had only 500 ml of gas left in the system, he drained it down tested it to a vacum and at pressure for leaks and refilled it to 1050 ml, as that was what his PC programe said for a 2.8 paj with twin aircons (he didn't have the Delica on his programe)
It was so nice to meet someone who does a good job and charged me 70 for the drain, test, and refill and 5 quid for a new seal on my window thingy.
I have asked him if he would do a discount for club members and he said he was able to move a bit on the price (i presume a tenner or so) . However I was so impressed with him I just paid the full wack as he was such good worker. I don't mind paying for good service.
