Bonnet catch stuck

Hi
1993 Delica L400.
Bonnet catch lever was very stiff and now won’t release the bonnet catch .
Does anyone know of a way to open the bonnet via another method ?

So I managed to get it’s sorted, lots of GT40 and a screwdriver poked through the grill to pull the latch open. So it is possible thankfully.
