Hi all,
I'm replacing all the belts on my recently purchased L300. I can't see how to slacken off the power steering belt - is there an adjuster hidden somewhere? Other's seem straight forward albeit fiddly. Thanks! |

Not easy to spot, as you can't see the slot that the clamp bolt slides in, but from memory it is the one at the top front. It also helps to slacken the pivot nut at the bottom front (both behind the pulley) Even when you have pulled the pump as close to the engine as poss, it is still a pain to get the belt on and off. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

Great, thanks Andy, so there isn't a tensioner as such, I just move the whole thing, got it! |

Yes, you'll need some type of lever to pull the pump away from the engine to tension the belt while you tighten the clamp bolt. Crude, but effective! _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |
