My pumps leaking at the engine block side, There is a blanking plate against which the advance piston stops against.
Just wondering if it's possible to take the aircon compressor off and gain access from the bottom?
Shame its not as easy as this : bongo ve bosh pump seal |

I'll post this as it may be of interest at some point.
I wouldn't be able to access the advance piston plate if I removed the aircon pump and bracket.
Fixed the piston seal only for the head seal to fail minutes later, do both 👌 |

I've replaced loads of these inner timing cylinder cover seals and always found removing the pump is the easiest way to do it but i should add pump removal and refit on a Deli only used to take me an hour _________________

I'm getting the practice in,not down to a hour but I always seam to find corroded cooling lines ect. This one took me good part of the day to get in and out but I was addressing lots of coolant leaks.
I didn't have the faceplate seal if that's what it's called, and it looked like it was shrunk but I had to use it and unfortunately it looks like all the diesel leaks have gone as have the coolant line leaks but there's a steady drip of engine oil now from the face plate..😬
Is there two seals on the pumps face plate? One on the pump side and a bigger outer one that's visible and faces onto the timing case? I'm hoping it'll be this one. |

Now I know that the vacuum and oil pump bolts went back in the right holes and the bottom pump one that's unable to be removed because of the půlly, but I'm wondering about the test now.
