My dust cap lights are in fact solar powered, they are switched on by a centrifugal mercury switch, so they only work when the wheel is turning. Cool

I am not happy with my tyre shine, as you can see itís worn off already, must do it again as soon as possible. Rolling Eyes

Doesnít that make them kinetic energy then, not solar.

If turning in the dark and lighting up, with no sunlight then it canít be solar power.

Unlike the caps, they have solar panels and a battery to store accumulated energy.

Of course, we should all be reducing the carbon footprint of our vehicles. Rather than fitting higher powered headlights, I am considering fitting mirrors to the bull bars, so that however dazzlingly bright are the lights of oncoming vehicles, I will be able to see the road ahead with matched, almost equally bright reflected light! Touche'!

I already found this advertised! I'm looking for a slightly "easier" introduction to Delica ownership though!
