|
I have a 1995 Delica Space Gear..
Trying to swap the stereo..
Wiring I have is:
Red/Black stripe - 12v permanent live
Black/ Red stripe - ?
Black/ Blue stripe - ?
White/ Red stripe - ?
White/ Blue stripe - ?
Solid Blue - ?
Green/ White stripe - ?
Grey/ Blue stripe - ?
Grey/ Red stripe - ?
Yellow/ Red stripe - ?
Yellow/ Blue stripe -?
I Can't find a switched live on any of them when ignition is turned on and off... Nor find any voltage on any when the lights are turned on and off..
There was also a single black wire connected to the back as an earth..
Help please... Anyone...
Kind regards..

Could always spend a few quid on the right plug adaptor and just plug in your new stereo and away you go, 2minute job :D _________________ The dude 8)

I'd go for a propper adapter too ,it's plug and play as they say
Most good diy will have the right one (i think Halfords now have it listed)
Have you gone back to the original harness plug or is there a plug (or wires from one)that may have been added.i only ask because of the grey wires you mention (these seem modern to me)

I seem to recall that someone mentioned the Halfords Mitsi Galant adapter is the one to use.

Guys - cheers from Canada. Thanks for this thread. Here is not the definitive guide to L300 or L400 stereo wiring on any of the Australian, UK, Canadian, or now, US sites.
you're welcome, eh.
So i can't post URLs on this forum but search "Delica.ca Definitive Guide to L300 or L400 stereo wiring!" in google and you'll also find this thread in the general forum. |

I got mine from a scrapped Shogun/Pajero that had an after-market Pioneer fitted. Only problem is, I can't use the Sound Stage 'Karaoke' machine like I could with the oem unit. Anyone know a fix for that? - it has it's own connector block _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

That's the one I got from Halfords to fit a Sony double DIN unit. _________________ Ian.
