Hi Guys,

Dropped the Delica off to the local Mitsubishi garage who came in with a much cheaper quote than many other garages in the area for engine service. I'm sure there's cheaper about but the guys seemed helpful (although they always do when taking money off you eh!) and understood that I needed to get Delica serviced fairly quickly as taking it to the lakes next week. They are doing an Acorn full service including auto transmission oil change for £230 all in. Other garages in area were saying the gearbox work would be an extra £90ish.

Only bit that got me slightly nervous/dubious is that I dropped it off at 4pm and the guy on desk said they had nothing else in this afternoon so may get it done by 5.30!!!! Told them not to rush as not desperate for it this afternoon. Just hope its all done properly if its that quick. Will definitely investigate doing minor stuff myself next time but may need to peruse youtube, forums and online guides before doing so as it took me 5 minutes to work out how to open bonnet on Saturday!

Oh, only other downside was they couldn't get locking wheel nuts off without the key (it didn't come with car) and have advised it may cost me up to £150 for removal and replacement so if anyone knows anyone in Birmingham area that could help with this before next Wednesday it would be much appreciated!!!
