Hello people - my Deli got no power and loads of black smoke. Engine lets off some odd clunking / rattle sound on odd occasions.
Can't get it to rev beyond about 2000 rpm at all.
Garage think it needs to have the EGR replaced or blanked but i'm not convinced it could have such a compromise on performance
as Deli is practically undriveable, also the power steering has gone?!
Any ideas on this and has any one experienced this. Ihave to admit it has been quite smokey for a while but this sudden clunking on foot going down on occasions and sudden loss of 90% power is quite new.
thanks

Might be a blocked fuel filter.  Can turn a perfectly good Deli into a rattling powerless smoke machine in no time.

Not to me!  :?

However its considerably cheaper to blank it off than replace it.

I've been driving around with mine blanked off for a couple of years and it performs better without it!  :D
