okay I take it all back, minor damage my arse!!! Mad

Deli is dying, keeps running battery flat and cutting out, woohoo!!!

Battery is fine and alt seems to be working, a little bit anyway, so god knows.
Rolling Eyes

Was still fun, but am beginning to worry a bit if I'm honest. Crying or Very sad

Same thoughts here. First my Deli keeps dying after starting, 2nd clouds of grey smoke when put my foot on the gas, 3rd Bloody dash lights won't go out, 4th horible smells from engine Crying or Very sad Anyone know any good machanics local to Croydon or want to travel? Until then we are all on foot Crying or Very sad As Dom said Was still fun, but am beginning to worry a bit if I'm honest. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

I'm sorry all you guys are having trouble Shocked Embarassed Not good news at all. I haven't had time to even look at mine since I got back. Rumour has it the neighbours are not to happy with the new pile of mud in the road Twisted Evil

Don't forgot that to clean these things fully you will need to remove the sump guard and bash plates, to get the jet wash into all the nooks and crannys of the suspension and crossmembers etc. I put mine up on ramps to make access easier Wink

I'll be interested to see the effect my foaming of the rear suspension has had on keeping the mud out :? Still I hope the heavy rain we had today has loosened the mud a bit Laughing
Good luck Eagles and Dom on your repairs...

okay few probs here to after going through that hole filled with lots of muddy water, but nothing i Can't fix or maybe Thrasherize, air and fuel fillters orderd from millners today, fixed me jet wash and started her up and gave her a good soaking under the hood including the alternator my thoughts where well if its fooked it won't hurt having clean water through it (alternator that is)
only thing i am worried about is me new £300 car alarm keeps setting its self off(me thinks i could have a few mud worms in it :o ) but then its only 2-3months old so can call them and complain if they say errm its full of mud and water i will just have to say LOOK ITS A Delica 4X4 MADE FOR MUD AND CRUD NOT SCHOOL RUNS Laughing Laughing Laughing . oh yeah also developed a rumble at 2500 rpm when heater or any thing that puts a load on electrics me is thinking its the bottom pulley.

and yes it was fun and yes i would do it again whens the next one Wink

na rusty i will just run mine though eynsford FORD a few times that will clean the underneath
