Just won me a set of 32mm Wheel spacers off of "That site"...cause i've decided that me lickle L300 needs a bit of "Chunky" about her...reckon that they will just be proud of me arches...but wot the hell huh, if they cannot stop people from drivin' drunk or usin' phones, reckon my chances of gettin' pulled are pretty remote...wonder how hot they would get bout it...hopefully be able to sort some arches in 2005 anyway, either proper ones, or the universal ones that Supertrux sell...cause once I can get a GPS system in there [allowin' me to get accurate speed figures...] I can go a bit bigger with the wheels or tyres...or both... Laughing ...once I've got 'em and fitted 'em I'll get some piccies up...before and after...and we'll see how much difference 3" in the width really looks like, and whether it was worth the bother... Shocked Razz

make sure your wheel studs/bolts/nuts are up to the job Exclamation
They can sheer under the extra strain, so if you haven't already bought your longer ones, check whats available...many moons ago I slid up the A31 in a 3 wheeled capri... Shocked

when you fit them make sure you check your front wheel bearing adjustment on a fairly regular basis as spacers can put extra strain on your bearings :?

going to change the other two next week, but still looks a beast Twisted Evil

Am runnin 235/75x15's at mo...and she only had new tyres in spring...so looks like we'll be keepin' this size for a while yet...cannot sfford another set... Laughing ...but hopefully the spacers will give her a bit more "chunk" even with this size...and I will keep an eye on the bearin's Chiefie...cheers for advice...will 32mm a side put that much xtra strain on 'em then... Question Might look at gettin' heavier duty bearin's next time they need changin... 8)

they can put extra strain on,but not always to a great extent. worth noting though. its all to do with off set and leverage on axles.
have you seen my pics after new wheels? fronts were just wider than arches but the problem with making arches was they would have to attach to the door then the body further around Rolling Eyes
may also catch on mudflaps when turning, just behind the flap is the end of the sill, so if it catches "adjust" it using a big hammer!!!(don't forget to re under seal it after) had to do this to mine Wink
let me know how you get on

Hi all!
any chance of a Make and normal selling price?
The ones I`ve seen here are quite expensive, they`ve to comply to the German TÜV, which involves testing for each individul car make and rim/ tyre size.
The ones above look quite universal :D

don't know about german regs, so the best advice i could give you is to find a german supplier(shogun/pajero are the same hub)
where abouts are you? as you haven't filled in profile details Wink
p.s. is it 2 or 4 wd as this will make a difference.

you could try german auction site, but i suppose you would need to know what you are looking for. :?
