Sorry had to leave early, but top job event at such short notice!!
Nice to see weather held off too.
How did the auction go? hope you made plenty for charity, and people happy with their purchases.
Hope to see everyone again soon,

n1 Bruce, and thank you to you and to everyone that attended to make this meet into a fab day
i think everyone's grins were even bigger at the end of the day clutching their new prized possessions to add to their delis, or in my case shiny new grab rails for my bongo!
all 3 of my kids were black from head to toe and got dunked and scrubbed in the bath as soon as their feet hit the threshold when we got home! the dog hasn't moved from his basket! and shhh don't tell him, but the poor dude is going to need a bath tomorrow as he's black underneath instead of white too!
thanks for the bouncy castle pad, my kids (and everyone elses) certainly enjoyed it! only one fat bloody lip - not bad - had to be one of my kids tho!!
cya at the next one! |

Thanks Bruce for a great first meet for us. We were really pleased to meet such a friendly lot of people! :D Thanks also to Pad and Denise for bringing the bouncy castle (and other toys borrowed by Josh, plus little Dude!). We're already looking forward to the next meet! Shame about the drunk bloke someone left in the Deli though! _________________ Mick and Kathryn - Black over silver L400 |

Well done Bruce, Wow you really got it sorted for us today, and at such short notice. You are sure one fine asset for the club. :D :D
We had a cracking time today, came home with some goodies, and going back for more.
Nice to see everyone. Loads with more mods added since MITM. . I see a few of our members have gone up in the world
Looking forward to the next one.
Huge Thanks for doing what you do for the club. You add an extra dimention, and I for one am hugely greatfull. My Deli wouldn't be what it is today without your input, and it hasn't even started on the Metal monkeys stuff yet.
Cheers mate , and hope to see you soon.

Well firstly - a big thank you to everyone who came along (especially as you only had 3 days notice! :D ) and made it quite a meet! 8)
The biggest thank you, however, must go to Martin, Len and the rest of the guys at Bristol Import Auctions.
To lay on such a venue at such short notice, to be so welcoming, accepting and tolerant of us Deli lot (and Lyn ) and to let us loose on their premises with so many Deli's to poke a look at.....what more could we have asked for.....but they went further than that!
Two flagans of free cider!
All requested parts properly removed by their mechanics! 8)
Free range to wander amongst 40+ Deli's to choose our goodies! :D
A proper auction with no last second bidders, where someone walked away with a high roof Terzo for £100 and an immaculate parking pole for £40!! It doesn't get much better!
I think I was the only one who came away with nothing for my L400? :? I hope all you other L400 got what you wanted?
One thing I think I manage to pull off which was fairly unique - being the only Deli owner with TWO Deli's at a meet! His & Her's Deli's not included!
Thanks to Rusty for driving my new addition down (and back) A bit more 'appropriate' than turning up on your motorbike 8)
Jed (my li'l boy!) had a GREAT day mixing with the other dogs and scrounging food off people.....he didn't move from his bed once we got home! Thanks everyone for making a great day for him!!
Thanks again to everyone for coming and making it one hell of a great day and once again to Martin & Co.....we WILL be doing this again....but even BETTER next time!
Regards,
Bruce. _________________ '93 L300 Mystery Machine (Now in the hands of a new owner)
