After seeing all the interest in the Weston meet - how about a meet for the East of England.

I suggest Suffolk, not just because I live here, but it is handy for Essex, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

Maybe an evening pub meet or a weekend lunch or afternoon (with picnic).

My first idea is Dunwich beach, large carpark and good cafe (excellent fish and chips). But this can be crowded on a sunny day.

All ideas welcome.

Numbers interested could affect venue. Who is interested?

Steve

okay. That's 4 or 5 interested.

Any suggestions for dates?

This weekend 10th./11th. July and the next Sunday 18th. July is no go for me. Either day on the next two weekends (24th./25 th. or 31st./1st.) is a possibility.

Any suggestions for places?

Dunwich would be okay for up to about a dozen vehicles, any more and if its busy I don't think we will all be able to park together. It is a carpark so I don't think bar-b-ques would be possible.

Or do people prefer an evening meet, maybe a weekday?

Lets have some ideas.

Anybody know anything about Somerleyton?

Steve

I don't have a problem with August. We just need to see if its okay with Hawk and the other guys. Then Perhaps then we can sort something out. Dunwich does look good though i must admit. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Hi guys,
I've been away on my hols so haven't been able to join you thread before today. Sad

I'm meeting some guys from POCUK with their Pajeros at the Lighthouse Inn, at Walcott, on the Norfolk coast (just north of Gt Yarmouth) between 1 and 2pm on Saturday 17th July. Meeting just for a chat, non-alcholic bevvy and a bite to eat. Smile

Thread here:
http://www.pocuk.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=15076

They have a website :
http://www.lighthouseinn.co.uk/index.htm

Map here:

You are all quite welcome to join us. :D

The more the merrier !!!! :D :D :D

I should be up for anything else you organise, but thought some of you might be interested in this little meet 8)

Cool-Dude will you be back from your caravan trip? One post said you will be up north for two weeks fron 26th. July, later one said August was okay.

Sorry, if its messing everybody (specially Raymond) around, but something's come up (or rather I had forgotten something) and I can't make it on the 1st.

If people want that weekend I can do the Saturday, the 31st July. Otherwise the 8th. Aug.

Sorry again.

Steve

It's decision time!

Sunday August 8th. Dunwich Beach Car Park.

Meet in afternoon for picnic, there is also a cafe that does excellent fish and chips.

I will post map as soon as I sort one out.
