Hi Chutz,
You measure between the inner lips. The 265/75x16 will give you 10+% increase in rolling dia over the standard tyres! I.e. you will be doing nearly 78mph when the speedo shows 70mph. I suggest going for a 255 or 265 in 65 ratio. Check out: http://www.tyretraders.com/tyrecalc.html

Er not really. I'm a bit concerned about the weight rating tho. The Deli weighs the best part of 2500kgs gross. I would assume the rating is 'per corner' as it were. Any chance of a picture? You could always mount the 'empty' rim on the Deli to get an idea of the off-set. Standard off-set is about 32mm ish by the way. If you don't know how to measure it... I can probably find a diagram somewhere.... _________________

Hi Chutz. You shoulda taken the fake screws out of the rim before they were blasted. They usually pull out pretty easy with a pair of pliers. Looking at the pics I'm guessing that the "0" on the rim is the offset ie 0 mm. To find the offset, measure the width of the wheel (W) and then measure the distance from the inside rim to the back of the mounting flange. The distance from inside of rim to the back of the flange - let's call it "F". The offset is F - (W/2). EG if rim width (W) is 200mm and distance from inside of rim to back of flange (F) is 135mm. then the offset is
135 - (200/2) = +35mm.
From my experience (pretty limited) I think you'll need a fair bit of positive offset to an 8 inch rim in. But you'll have a fair bit of trouble with rubbing on full lock. Give it a go and tell us how you get on. The bigger the better!
One thing I have found (which was to be expected really) since I put the big wheels on is that while the speed will be 7% higher than indicated, the acceleration is worse! Part of the problem is that the kickdown is operating a bit sooner than it was before and 60mph uphill at 2500rpm or whatever is fine but if I try to accelerate the gearbox kicks down, the motor ends up doing 4000rpm and there's no acceleration at that engine speed anyway. I'll have a go at adjusting the kickdown cable so it takes more throttle to make it happen. I guess that should improve things. _________________ Pete

I thought they looked real. Otherwise, why have the nuts on the 'inside' of the wheel _________________
