Well so far!
I was supposed to pick up on Tuesday. This didn't happen, I wasn't supprised.
They had a fair bit to do.
Mot. Service. Rgister with DVLA. Tax. Vallet. Replacea couple of missing switches, Supply rear hub caps, Fix a vibration on the das, Fix window problem, replace broken speedo, fit fog lights, replace chiped back light, fit new wipper blades.
The Deli went through it's mot with no problems. They ordered the parts from EASY JAP PART! guess what they promised the sent them on Friday by 24 hr courier. On Tuesday they'd still not arrived.
Luckily Car planet took delivery of another Deli today so they are canabalising this for mine and will fitt the new part to this one.
So far I am very pleased with car planet. They are friendley and helpful.
The owner being Japanese was even bowing to me when he apologised for the delay.
It's difficult to be tough on some one when they are that polite. _________________ Orfy

They have been very good so far.
They have done much more than I expected. Normally when you buy a second hand car it is price for the condition it is in and sold as seen with basic warranty.
These guys have bent over backwards to sort things out. Even down to missing grommets, squeaks and rattles.
They have had a problem with the speedo and have tried a few things but have said it's now narrowed down to the sensor inside the box and it's a reasonable job to replace it. Mitsubishi have none in stock so it's on back order from Japan but in the mean time they will try to trace a used part in this country.
Each time it's been in I have been supplied with a lone car and they have called me to keep me informed of the progress.
They really do seem to care about customer satisfaction.
The vehicle come with a 6 month 3rd party warranty and I've extended it for a further 2 years. _________________ Orfy

Did the parts eventually turn up? There are comments on Easy Jap Parts about their 'service' elsewhere on the forum.

Car planet got another Deli in so took the bits from that so I didn't need to wait.
They must of eventualy got the bits because the other Deli is now sold. Easy Jap Parts must be realy stupid if they are messing an importer about.
Theys guys are preping around 10 vehicles a week. _________________ Orfy

They have just taken on 2 full time mechanics so they can do all the work in house.
It seems they have dropped their stock off Delis to a couple at a time and also seems they'd dropped to screen prices to around £4-£4.5k from £5-£5.5k.
Probably to more being available second UK user now.
They have 2 in at the moment.
Servicing from £80 - £150 ex.
Hourly rate £45. _________________ Orfy

I think with the back up they offer then It's worth Considering.
I'd Rather pay £5k from a place with good back up than £4k from a dodgy back street place.
They can't sell them for much less, they need to cover costs and make a profit. That's why they don't sell/stock as many as they used to.
It's not worth them selling anything much under £5k. _________________ Orfy
