right was just looking for the post to update you

header tank delivered this morning, missis took it in the Deli so he has seen the position of header tank in situe, took some picies too,
rang him tonigth on way home, he said it lookes quiet straightforward, he is going to do some costings and email me with prices for group buy, he said he "THINKS" he should be able to get price to about genuine price but all depends on numbers, i have organised to take my Deli in to have the "mock up" one trial fitted if we are happy with price. if this happens i will get and post piccies for you to see.
will post as soon as i have the details Laughing

lets all hope this comes off

Billybob, you're an absolute star. Thanks for putting yourself out like this. And special thanks to your missus as well.

A minor irritation has now turned into a major problem.

Has anyone got a defunct header tank i.e. spout knocked off which I can repair to get me out of trouble?

Canute

I've got my old header tank (L400 I assume you want). Fine apart from a hairline crack which loses about a litre of water in two days.

Guys, many apologies for being offline. The people who keep me in green stuff sent me off to Canada for the winter.

Kw -Bub, thanks for the offer. Can you tell me how much for it and where is the hairline.

All the best.

Just buy a new one 20mins to fit, don't waste your time on a quick fix or you'll be sorry, £112 from mitsi or stainles mod someone on her is supplying them, jb.

Hi Saint,

Thanks for the suggestion. I need a tank as sample for one of our ironfighters to have a peek with a view to fabrication. Can't spare the one on the Deli as needed for the skool run. ( that's the car, the header tank goes with it).

All the best
