I have just fitted a boost guage to my L400 2.8 TD Exclamation

Can anybody tell me what the boost presure shoul be, the guage is showing 0.8 is this correct Question

What i am finding confusing is that the guage is a vacuum / boost guage but it does not show a vacuum, which i was expecting, i have drilled a hole into the manifold and attached it there :?

Thanks in advance

Sam

Hi Sam :D (in france) :D

The listed max turbo boost for the 4M40 2.8 diesel engine (pajero listing)altho same engine as Delica,is.......95KPa which equates to 0.95bar ( 1 bar tops I've read over at pocuk) or 14psi.
the maximum wastegate operating pressure is 89KPa which is 0.89 bar or 12.9 psi.
Hope those figures help you matey if not gis a shout and ile try some more for you,but if yours is reading out .8 bar then its not far out me thinks.
All the best,

Marc 8)
