Just been talking to some Lake District National Park officers today.

looks like Walna Scar (Coniston) & Garburn pass (Troutbeck) among others will be downgraded to Bridlepaths before Christmas. This will mean any vehicle (4x4 or motorbike) will be liable to prosecution if caught after this time Sad

Oh well better get out and drive next weekend Exclamation

my advice is before anyone goes out in the lakes to give dave robinson a ring, he is the trails advisor for the lake district national park authority, plan your route then ring him to make sure your route is 'open'
