Has anyone got a diagramme of aircon system on L300.
Just bought it last month, aircon a non runner.
Want to check system out before getting regassed to keep costs down, Had a quick look around the other day.
Has it really got 3 condensers?

Hi Steve,
The aircon system is fairly complexed on these beasties (delicas and pajeros)and i do beleive there is 3 condensers of some description contained within the system.
When you say they system is a non runner are you aware the system willnot run if there is no gas in it,this is a safety feature to avoid the system running dry and causing damage ,the clutch will also not engage with the system empty basically it will all shut down until the gas pressure is at the suitable level, hope that helps a little, its not uncommon to find imports with little or no gas in the systems, prob be best to get it leak tested dyed and re filled and then go from there (leak test and pressurte test will show obvious faults) once refilled it should all kick into life if not then let us know but hopefully that should solve the problem, all the best

Thanks Marc,I was hoping there was some kind of level or pressure sensor in the system.
Its a 1990 model and I have no history, If its still on its origanal fill I don't think its done to bad.

just had my 91 wagon gassed by a mate, still cost £85 and i am in the trade!!!! its because of the type of gas used(not as common as r134a so dearer). he can convert it for me to use r134a gas for £135, worth thinking about if i decide to hold on to it for a long time
thought i would share that with you :D
