I read the L400 2.8 was reasonable for fuel. Claimed MPG seems to vary from 25 to 40 depending who you ask. What's typical for steady motorway use? |

Deker reckoned his achieved 27 - 30 on sustained motorway runs at 70mph, I've never heard of any better, and bear in mind, his had standard sized tyres which means the speedo runs around 7% optimistic (it was 10% on my L300!) _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

I get a normal run, day to day, of 22-25'sh.
When on a long trip, camping, etc, no more than 30'ish.
If I stripped the seats out and carried nothing, but me, perhaps 32, at the most.
Basically; If you need to ask about fuel economy, then you can't afford it. _________________
