Hi

PD8W MOT failure due to front shock bushings being worn out

It's £48 for a pair from Mitzy Bitz

or

£48 for a pair from Milners

or

might as well replace the shocks rather than the bushings, right?

Or am I getting this wrong somehow.

Change the complete shockers with bushings. Quicker, and looks like you aren't skimping! Also, if the old ones are okay, you have some spares that you can re-bush at leisure.

Also note that if you have the Electronic Controlled System (ECS) installed it only works with the OEM checkers from Mitsubishi.

Aftermarket shockers will work, but will not be electronically controlled.

IF you are unsure if or not you have the ECS system read this post, with photos:- http://www.MDOCUK.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?p=210797

Can the shocks be replaced without jacking up the vehicle? I need to replace both of the front shocks on mine.
