Hi all,

I'm in need of a new set of tyres all round on my L300 - I currently have 215/80/15 tyres but I'm not finding a lot of choice out there in that size. Are there alternative sizes I could go for? I'm sure I read somewhere about 235/75/15s but I can't find the post.

Thanks a lot,
Andrew

Since I wrote those contributions, I have changed my wheels and tyres several times. As Fostlongstrider confirms, 235/75/15s fit with no issues and look good. I currently have slightly worn 265/70/15s on 7.5j Pajero wheels which finish flush with the body sides. However, the front ones rub very slightly on the bumps in the mud flaps at certain steering angles, so perhaps 255/70/15s are the biggest without rubbing, although these would be wider than you should fit on the standard wheels. Wide wheels also produce more friction, so don't do anything for fuel consumption!

235/75/15 are generally available in all makes.
I have TOYO Open Country ATs on the front and HANKOOK Dyna Pro ATs on the rear in this size and with 34 psi in each she handles well and has reasonable consumption figures.

Great, thanks for this. I'll go for 235/75/15 then I think. I have Hankook Dyna Pro ATMs on my other car which work well off road for work so I'm hoping I can get those for the Delica.
Cheers!
