|
|
I have the bus up on stands and the new zero mile transmission ready to go in...new rear main oil seal is in and waiting for the clutch kit arriving tomorrow. The propshaft has all new U joints fitted and the now redundant hoses and pipes to rear heater are removed and discarded.
However....I am told that the steel pipe that goes around the rear of the block that takes water from the thermostat housing to the turbo and heater system etc is no longer available.
What is the generally accepted solution here? What ideas or experiences are out there to resolve this?
Any thoughts or ideas? |

The part number for that has changed twice.
MD303390
MD314625
Lastly, in 1994, to MD320581
The last one is showing as available, brand new, direct from Japan, on EBay:-

Lewis, just checking that you'd noticed his L400 has the 4D56 motor, not UK usual 4M40. Just wondering if O/Ps is 2WD or euro 4x4 spec? _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

Yes I did, he said it in his post subject.
The 4M40 engine has a different set of part numbers. _________________
