If you leave the calliper pistons "tight" fitting, your Brake Pads and Discs will wear prematurely.
And it gets better, the Discs can get "Tramlines" they increase the surface area of the "Dragging" Pads  Sad

Better still your car will use more fuel per mile - - How wonderful  Exclamation  Question

To all reading this. When it comes to Disc Brake Callipers. It is most important that the Pistons move easily in and out of the calliper bore.

DANGER - WARNING = IF your car has sticky pistons in brake callipers.
Tho it is a rare event, a faulty dragging/sticky braking system could get hot enough to boil the brake fluid, creating air bubbles in the fluid system. -
This causes the brake pedal "To Go To The Floor" leaving the driver with zero braking effect  Shocked

If you need to use a tool to push pistons into callipers - THEN something is WRONG.

If you have this sticky piston problem, and you can't work it out. Please engage somebody that can.

Also remember, if you cause a collision due to faulty brakes on your car - You are liable to prosecution.

Did you apply red brake grease to both the piston/seals and the caliper bore? And of course you have to get the clamp and piston perfectly aligned to prevent it from jamming on the skew!
