Hi guys

I have a 1994 L400 3L V6 and this afternoon the Speedo stopped working and gear select lights went off.  Rev counter, petrol and temp gauges  work fine as does the dash lights.  I'm assuming it's going to be poor connection somewhere and will remove the cluster hopefully tomorrow if i have time. It has one of those km to miles converter as well. Also the trip meter hasn't gone up either but the display is on

Any ideas before I start pulling things out?

Cheers

Jon

I would be inclined to physically check the fuses first. I.E. with a multimeter, not just by looking at them.

This post will help:- http://www.MDOCUK.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=50650

Thanks Lewis. Will do this first. I assume just a continuity check will be sufficient  to check the fuse?

Some of the fuses and relays serve multiple circuits, which can differ from the standard depending on what optional upgrades were fitted at the factory.

Best to individually test the fuses, in both boxes, rather than do a continuity test through a full circuit.
