Just back from a good weekend at Wood Farm.
Was good to put faces to names and meet up with old friends.
Didn’t do a lot of repair work but managed to give out plenty of advice and knowledge.
The score was even i.e seven L300s and seven L400s
With ref to my fuelling problem it can’t be that bad as I averaged 29.4 mpg for the round trip of 272 miles.
When I get sorted will post pics in the event reports section.

Thanks all for a fantastic long weekend at and around Wood Farm.
Particular thanks to Andyman for all the organisation and tarpaulins knitting!
Great to meet new faces and catch up with some old friends.

Customary stats time. Round trip including excursions to the Peak District was spot on 750km / 465miles @26.5mpg.

Hope everyone got home safely and are starting to dry out a little!

It was a fabulous weekend.  A shame I couldn't stay for the whole weekend but it was great.  It was great to put faces to names.  I am looking forward to the next one!

As it appears to be customary.... 24.72 mpg for me

I think my Deli didn’t want to leave, After having a chat with the farmer, following hosing down my Deli, to get the mountain of leaves and twigs off my roof the TomTom refused to turn back on.
I pulled off the side of the exit lane from the farm to setup my ‘newish’ XTRON satnav/ head unit and it put up a warning box of the middle of the screen, in Japanese, apart from the words ‘Kudos.exe’, then shutdown the mapping App. That left me with my trusty iPad and built in Map.

Once I got over the Derbyshire border into Yorkshire the TomTom sprung back to life and the XTRONS screen Map quickly followed.  I must have picked up some residual static from being camped next to Ian (Fostlongstrider) all weekend.  Laughing

Otherwise it was a good weekend apart from the rain preventing  Deli’s getting jacked up and a free greasing service of propshafts, etc, from yours truly.

NB: I was second last away, having noted Deker’s Deli parked by the farmhouse on the way out.  Rolling Eyes

Had trouble with my Tom Tom as well until I was out of the farm.

Looking great if a little damp... I'm genuinely sorry to have missed it, particularly as by the sound of things the addition of another L300 would have pushed "us" into the majority!  Rolling Eyes  Very Happy

There was actually eight of each overall as we had a couple of day visitors that couldn't stop over.

Technically 14 attended the meet!
Odd visitors don’t count to the meet total.

I've checked against my Official List - L300s won 8-7. You can't count Leigh Wintle, as he only popped in to say Hi, and didn't stay the night! However, I've counted Mike in the white L300 who turned up on the Sunday morning and came out on the semi-abortive laning/drowning/miscommunicating-and-getting lost mission! One L300 and two L400’s completed that magical mystery tour! And we all had pub-lunch in the sunshine!

Yes what a great weekend, still up in Derbyshire/Staffordshire languishing in the rain!
Great to put names to faces - they never quite match - Mr D, I had you down as in your 20's and 6'4", not mid 30's and 6'😂.
Anyway great time had and thanks in particular to Andyman and Lewis,
Andy
