Thanks Ian - I've got blackout panels, but going to rework the interior again, as it's knackered, and squeeze in a portapotti, so simple modesty curtains will be very handy!

How small is your small fridge? I've been looking at 15/20/25 litre compressor cool boxes. I've got a table top type fridge but too big for an L300!

It’s approx 12” x 15”, not sure exactly. It’s at the charity I do work for and I’m there tomorrow so can let you know  then.
I have a Halfords cool box which I bought because it was advertised as holding 56 cans!!

Thanks Ian.
I've had thermo-electric coolbox/fridges in the past but they are so power hungry, so now looking at compressor type fridges, that can also freeze, as they take so little power. However small ones are quite expensive, and big ones are too big! Hmmm.

See my answer to Deker I think the one I have is a Peltier, but will check it out and give you an answer tonight.
My Cool box keeps beer nice and cold and only draws around 5amps, it has a fan assist to help though.

My peltier thermo-electric (Aldi) cool box allegedly manages 18C below ambient, but ambient in the back of a Delica can easily be 35C at this time of year. I may have to find a shady place in the woods for both cool box and leisure battery!

For those England fans attending the Wood Farm Big Meet  next weekend. The Raddle Inn, (less than a mile staggering distance) has a large beer garden with dining pods, and outdoor TV.
You'll need to get there early if you want a seat, and I'd suggest booking ASAP if you want to get a meal while you are there.
Raddle Inn phone number is (01889)507278. Beer will definitely be cold, assuming they don't run out. Inside was packed when I watched an England Euros match there with the Paj club in 2018. Covid restrictions apply indoors only.

Sorry to say the little fridge is Mains only!!
It draws 50 watts so could be run off an inverter.
Capacity 17 litres
15"wide X16" deep X 13" high.
Fan assisted Peltier cooling system (x2 fans).
If anyone still wants it I'll bring it with me.

Looking on Street View, seems that Cheadle offers the best choice of take away food.

Tho, I will should be cooking for two nights.

I've got a Cobb bbq oven thing that I've never used, so bringing that to experiment cooking on.
Once the smoke clears, I'll order a take away....

I have a vision of the Delica convoy headed for Wood Farm, looking like a refugee trail, roof-racks piled high with every type of spare part/tools/camping gear, pots & pans dangling from the wing mirrors etc! Any documentary cameramen bringing their equipment to record the event? Krys Scislovicz is unlikely to make it - his V6 has starting problems.

Current tally of attendees is 26 adults, one child and two dogs in 18 Delis and a Hymer. There have sadly been some drop-outs, but also a few late arrivals to the ball, so there is still some space for last-minute entrants!

Just been sorting through my manshed, to find a skyhook that went missing.

Whilst doing that I found - for the L400's

A Fuel injector Pump.

Two Aircon compressors.

One set of front Aircon Radiator fans.

Two 90Ah alternators.

A starter-motor.

A transmission 4WD Floor lever.

One outer pair of bullbar lamps, with yellow fogs.

One pair of boxed 'unused' Reisen 250W oval speakers.

If anyone is interested, then please PM me, before 8pm today.

If anyone has a roof rack and doesn’t have a ladder for access I have a wheel step that I found in my garage.
It fits over any wheel and a step folds down to get you up high enough to put stuff on or take stuff off your roof rack.
If anyone wants it let me know by tomorrow 8AM.
I got it when I was going to fit a roof rack but changed my mind as I usually travel solo and have room enough.

And with three days to go I got my little van working....  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy Flushed the heater matrix and a fist full of crap came out. Was the final hurdle.... (for now)

Looking forward to meeting you all and your vans. Bringing a load of crap I bought to put on and get inspired what I see in the other vans.

I'll PM you Andy so you can give me the details if that's okay. Coming straight after work from Macclesfield tomorrow!

Matt

Hi everyone.

Oh gosh. I very sadly cannot make it, and was avoiding looking at the posts in this thread as I knew it was going to lead to major FOMO.
I now looked at the posts, and major FOMO it is.  Crying or Very sad  Crying or Very sad   Crying or Very sad

But a combination of work commitments, commitments to having to apply for new work during the weekend, urgent need of welding to van, and having recently had to already travel many miles up and down the M6, have made it unfeasible.

I really, really wish I could have come - I would have loved to see/meet folk.

Have lots of fun all!! Gutted.

Jeroen

Ian - if there are no takers for that wheel step you mention, I'd be interested... do you have a photo of it, by any chance?
