|
|
Hi guys,
I've been fiddling around with my fuel pump today (don't ask) and have accidentally dropped a banjo bolt into the engine bay and it can't be retrieved. I need to get a replacement pretty urgently but have no idea what to get - it's on the top of the pump. I'm attaching a picture here of where the bolt should be...
Can anyone advise on a part number or what this bolt is even called, it's size etc so I can start looking for a new one?

I take it you can’t see the bolt you dropped, even if you can’t see it fishing with a telescopic magnet usually finds the bolt and a multitude of other things. _________________ Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.... |

No, can't see the bolt, but I saw roughly where it went and no amount of fishing around has brought it out so far. Will try again tomorrow though. |

Clumsy
If Yosa cannot help, I could make one.
But I would need Length, Diameter and thread pitch.
I guess 10 * 1.25 mm pitch - length
AND don't forget, have you got the two Copper washers

Thanks Deker, it looks like YOZA will have saved the day but will let you know once I've tried fitting. I've got ONE of the washers - the other is lost with the nut so will have to get some new ones. Am replacing the turbo at the moment so I need some new copper washers anyway! |

YES! Thanks YOZA, I've been meaning to send this all day - the bolts arrived today and the longest one is a perfect match. Thanks again for your help with this - much appreciated. Shall I post the other two back to you? |
