Hi all, my power steering has packed up on my 1998 Delica, I've got underneath and located the pipe at fault but am unsure of the technical name so I can order a new one... It's a 90 degree metal pipe with a nut at one end and joins into a rubber pipe on the other end... I've included a pic of the problem pipe. Any info you guys have will be greatly appreciated. Cheers in advance, Paul...👍

Can't see any photo of yours but it'd be worth looking at the parts diagrams https://mitsubishi.epc-data.com to be sure what you're after.
If it happens to be the one that rusted out on mine then I can tell you eBay item 371016177977 fits.  JJC 120 Degree Push Fit Hose Fitting Fast Flow Swivel -6 JIC 6AN 9/16. Note they're aluminium rather than steel, not sure if that's a problem.

Thanks so much for the info on the 120 degree steering hose, it sounds spot on as on further inspection it's over a 90 degree angle. Mines also rusted away to nothing... Is it a big job to get it changed? Unfortunately the eBay number is coming back as 'not recognised', I'll keep looking and hopefully can find one from another supplier... Cheers again...👍

I've done a little more digging, the part I needed was MR112412.  See:
https://mitsubishi.epc-data.com/delica_space_gear/pd8w/nsehf1/steering/power-steering-oil-line/138073/

Couldn't wait for the genuine part from Japan so bought the following from ebay:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JJC-120-Degree-Push-Fit-Hose-Fitting-Fast-Flow-Swivel-6-JIC-6AN-9-16-quot/371016177977?hash=item5662499939:g:eEkAAOSwrhRdlGfm

Normally you can simply search an item number on ebay and it comes up.

Was quite a fiddly job so no change there with the Delica.  I remember struggling with it for a while as it's difficult to get your arm and hand up in there.  Got it done and it's been fine for 18 months.

I'll just add my disclaimer again that it is aluminium and I have hazy memory I read that sort of thing is for motorsport use only, not road.  Seeing as it connects immediately to a flexible rubber hose I'm taking my chances.

A-ha that's narrowed it down... Just wish I could post pics on here as I've got a photo of the existing part in place and also a photo of the replacement part... The replacement comes in at £10.39 so I might just order it up anyway and fingers crossed...🤞 Yes it does look tight to work in there, sounds like your replacement has done the job nicely...👍
