|
|
Hi all, my power steering has packed up on my 1998 Delica, I've got underneath and located the pipe at fault but am unsure of the technical name so I can order a new one... It's a 90 degree metal pipe with a nut at one end and joins into a rubber pipe on the other end... I've included a pic of the problem pipe. Any info you guys have will be greatly appreciated. Cheers in advance, Paul...👍 |

Can't see any photo of yours but it'd be worth looking at the parts diagrams https://mitsubishi.epc-data.com to be sure what you're after.
If it happens to be the one that rusted out on mine then I can tell you eBay item 371016177977 fits. JJC 120 Degree Push Fit Hose Fitting Fast Flow Swivel -6 JIC 6AN 9/16. Note they're aluminium rather than steel, not sure if that's a problem. |

Thanks so much for the info on the 120 degree steering hose, it sounds spot on as on further inspection it's over a 90 degree angle. Mines also rusted away to nothing... Is it a big job to get it changed? Unfortunately the eBay number is coming back as 'not recognised', I'll keep looking and hopefully can find one from another supplier... Cheers again...👍 |

A-ha that's narrowed it down... Just wish I could post pics on here as I've got a photo of the existing part in place and also a photo of the replacement part... The replacement comes in at £10.39 so I might just order it up anyway and fingers crossed...🤞 Yes it does look tight to work in there, sounds like your replacement has done the job nicely...👍 |
