|
|
Hi all
My faithful Chamonix has terminal engine damage. my local garage (who I have been using for years) cannot source a replacement 2.8 engine. Will a 2.5 fit straight in ? apparently they are easier to locate than the original engine. I have had a lot of work done on the truck so I am loathe to scrap it.
Many thanks |

I would stick with the 2.8, just look on ebay under various search criteria ie Delica engine or 2.8TD etc etc and Paj/ Shoggie engines fit too.

Differences in wiring looms will give grief if you put a 2.5 block in.
As Bazza says stick to the 2.8. (4M40) engine.
Try MitzyBitz, in Rotherham. They get a fairly steady stream of Deli's and Padj's in.
Also MJM, in Hull. _________________
