Hi All,

My rear brakes failed, seems like one of the pads has disappeared, I didn't think was possible but apparently it is!

The seals failed and leaked lots of fluid after hard braking and the carrier arm has been wearing out on the disk now and both need replacing. Anyway it seems there are two versions of the rear brake caliper 38 and 43 mm diameter pistons.  I have 38mm pistons (MR205262 casing 3807 ) but I am having problems finding a complete unit with carrier arm ( thats not ridiculously expensive), or even a MR205262 caliper with slider / carrier arm at all at the moment.

My question is, Milners sell the other caliper size, 43mm diameter, can I just switch to this caliper model so long as I replace both calipers on each rear wheel ?

Thanks
Joe
