|
|
Hi All,
I am looking for an original muffler exhaust main (Part Number MR299129). It' s for an L400 4WD 2.4 Petrol, manual, Model 4G64 in Switzerland. A custom made from stainless steel part is unfortunately no option because I already have one which doesn't pass through the country's vehicle inspection. The problem is the noise which is 5 dB beyond the limit.
In Switzerland and Germany there are no new parts available, so I thought that because in the UK exists a bigger market with Delica/L400 maybe you have an idea where i should search.
I would appreciate any advice.
Greetings
Christos |

Try your Mitsubishi dealer, with that part number. If they are unable to get them then I cannot advise any differently.
Luckily in the UK we are able to use aftermarket parts.
Like many others over here I have had a custom made stainless steel system fitted, with a lifetime warranty, which is actually better than the original one. _________________

I swop out DB killers when I take my motorcycle for an mot so maybe you could fit one of those just for the mot.
A DB killer is just a tube with holes you fix in the exhaust.

May be okay in the UK Bazza, but Switzerland has some really strict rules about vehicle modifications.
Even something as simple as replacing the OEM wheel rims requires the vehicle to be taken to a testing station to be examined and an approval slip issued. _________________
