Picked a new wagon up last week (sold a lemon)
Gearbox Gasket leaking worse than the Titanic... replaced (and filter)
But shes not changing up, she wasn't before the gasket replacement i put it down to low atf but ... all topped up (took 6 ltrs)
I've tried the tps (it's fully anti clockwise)
I get the occasional kickdown
But at 60mph its right up at 4k .......

Check the engine temperature sensor (I think there are 2?) that sends a signal to the ECU to say the engine is warm enough to cope with overdrive. I take it your overdrive switch puts the O/D light on the dashboard? The O/D switch on the L400 is prone to breakage.

Wrong wire, that is the power feed.

See this post for how to adjust it:- http://www.MDOCUK.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=43295

The O/D switch - When it fails, it goes into O/D mode.
