Hi guys

I've been exploring the electrical system on my L300 Super Exceed, with a view to removing the karaoke unit, and fitting a leisure battery etc. Under the driver's seat, I have what looks like three relays. One grey one that has what looks like eleron video written on it, and two black ones with Ford on them.

Has anybody ever come across anything similar?

I'll try and get a photo uploaded shortly.

Cheers

Mike

Don't think they are standard.

They certainly don't sound like they look like the ones in mine... a photo would be interesting...

Someone may have replaced the original heater plug relays with suitably rated units from an alternative source. I don't think they will be anything to do with the Sound Stage equipment. Do Pink Pig's workshop manuals (in L300 FAQs) shed any light?

No the pre-glow relays are against the bulkhead under the driver's seat, back from the P/S reservoir. Accessible via the panel under the seat (move and fold it forward).
You need to take the plastic air intake duct off to allow easier access.

Ian's big leisure battery is fitted behind the driver's seat, and would have to be removed to lift the carpet and get access to the access panel!
