As per normal it was the usual suspects that turned up + 1, Leigh.
After the first night at -5 degrees outside and -2 degrees in the van Deker decided he'd had enough and hadn't brought enough sleeping kit so headed home.
Andyman, Leigh and I headed out Saturday and did a green lane and quite a few single track roads before returning to the campsite.
Leigh had to leave to help his son whose bike had broken down, but another member (whose name escapes me) had turned up in a Hymermobil because his L400 was off the road.
We spent the evening in the comparative luxury of the motorhome before turning in, in our L300s.
It again was sub zero outside during the night and inside the vans and Andyman's Chinese heater was not working properly!!!
I'm made of stronger stuff and just added a quilt over my sleeping bag!!
Today Andyman and myself went up to Lady Bower for a look round but it was stacked out and we couldn't get parked, also the road up the West side has been closed to all traffic. So we called it a day and went our separate ways.
Photos to follow.
As a central location for the club members it was yet again disappointing that so few turned up despite promising to make it!!!

P.S. The Manifold Inn despite being a nice clean venue was expensive for food, £12.95 for fish & chips, and not a big fish at all!!
Breakfast was £7.50 and by all counts was reasonable, Andyman and I struggled on with our gas stoves despite the low pressure caused by the low temperatures.

Yes, a big thanks to Mark for letting us into the luxurious warmth and space of the Hymer. I got the Chinese heater bled and working (if noisy) for Saturday night, and my gas heater also worked better in the slightly higher temperatures.  NB. Chinese instructions, badly translated into English, don't make much sense when your brain is inhibited by alcohol and cold! Or even when NOT inhibited by alcohol and cold. The venue was basic and cheap, at £5 each per night, and easy to reach from all the major surrounding conurbations within 30 miles or so, so somewhat disappointed that more didn't make it, although perhaps locals were better informed of how chilly the Peaks can be on a chilly April night! Call it a lesson learned! But nevertheless, I think we three remaining musketeers enjoyed our Saturday, pootling around the lanes - the Delica is the ideal vehicle, you can see over all the walls, so you see far more of the landscape, and other vehicles approaching, who can also see you. And Ian's Harley club knowledge came in useful - he reckons that whereever you see a load of bikes stopped at an eatery, you'll find satisfying cheap food, - which we did. Even better when someone else pays for it - thanks Leigh!
